On the road
Steer, drive, and trailer positions. We repair what is repairable and replace what is not, and we will tell you honestly which one you are looking at. A sidewall puncture, a run-flat that has been driven on, or a casing with exposed cord does not get a plug and a prayer — that tire is done, and putting it back on the road is how you end up doing this twice in one night.
Blowouts are more than a tire
A drive tire that lets go at highway speed usually takes something with it: air lines, wiring looms, mud flaps, fender brackets, sometimes a light bar. Because we are a full repair shop and not a tire-only outfit, we fix the collateral damage on the same call instead of leaving you with a good tire and a dragging air line.
What to tell us on the phone
Position and side — passenger-side outside drive, driver steer, second-axle trailer inside — plus tire size off the sidewall, and where you are sitting. Mile marker or exit number is enough. That determines what comes on the truck, and it is the difference between one trip and two.
In the yard, before it happens
The cheapest tire call is the one that never gets made. If you are already bringing a unit in for a DOT inspection or PM service, we check tread depth, look for irregular wear that points at an alignment or air pressure problem, and flag the casing that is going to strand a driver next month. We do not have an alignment rack, so if the wear pattern says you need one we will tell you and get you to a shop that does. A worn tire found in the bay costs a fraction of the same tire found at mile marker 828.
