Mobile Diesel Diagnostics
A dash light and a derate tell you something is wrong and nothing about what. Our scanner travels with the service truck, so we can pull codes, watch live data, and test circuits where the truck is sitting — before you decide whether it drives to the shop or gets towed.

Luke runs the diagnostics
Luke Dugas handles mobile diagnostics. He is also a certified DOT inspector, which shapes how he reads a truck: he is used to looking at a unit the way an inspection does, as a whole system, rather than chasing one code to the exclusion of everything else around it.
What a scan actually gets you
Active and stored fault codes across the engine, aftertreatment, brake, and body controllers. Live sensor data while the engine runs, which is where intermittent faults show themselves and a static code list does not. Freeze-frame data from when the fault set. From there we test the actual circuit — voltage, ground, continuity — rather than reading a code and ordering the part it names. Codes point at a symptom. They are not a diagnosis.
The decision it buys you
The most valuable thing a roadside scan produces is often not a repair, it is a decision. Whether the truck can finish the run. Whether it limps to the shop or waits on a tow. Whether the load needs to move to another tractor tonight. Knowing that in twenty minutes on the shoulder beats guessing, and it beats paying for a tow you did not need.
Where it leads
Diagnostics feed the rest of the work. A dosing or SCR fault leads into aftertreatment. A soot-load code leads into DPF cleaning or a forced regen. A misfire leads to injectors. A charging fault leads to alternators and batteries. Because the same crew does the diagnosis and the repair, nothing gets re-diagnosed from scratch when the truck reaches the bay.
